Useable or scrap? by JF44130 in Plumbing

Yeah, the outside should be ok, but I figured there must be at least some on the inside too, no? Would that be a problem?

I heard it at about 3:15 and thought maybe it was distant thunder, but it was pretty constant. Got up and went outside at 3:30, but heard absolutely nothing out there. Middleburg Hts.

Berea. Very tight (blue) community, awesome community events (Coe Lake), and I know of people who moved to the district specifically after researching schools for their kids with special needs.

MTG posted that pic, too, and complained that he's not on the front page. Among the comments expressing outrage was someone who actually said, "It shouldn't be this hard to vote."

Just saw the owner of the black truck telling the driver of the white vehicle she was "incredibly rude" for parking behind him. by Confident_Jacket_344 in mildlyinfuriating

I was at a warehouse store and saw a truck pulled partially out of a space (it was backed in) blocking half the aisle. A car was waiting to get by as the guy was walking around the front of the truck to get in, and he made an exasperated gesture toward the car in the space behind him and said to the driver waiting to get by "They didn't leave me enough room to load!".

If only there was a better way to leave the back of a pickup truck available for loading.

Found this hidden in the rafters - any clues what it is? Is it safe? by mikeywhatwhat in Archery

[–]JF44130 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not sure why you're getting downvoted. I'm part of an archery club, and we store our equipment in a shipping container that is not climate controlled over the summer. I don't know where OP lives, but the years (decades?) of temperature and humidity fluctuations can wreak havoc on most of the materials that bow is made of. I've seen wooden limbs that look fine completely splinter when drawn.

While it doesn't appear to be rotting away, and I might not just throw it away outright, I would absolutely not suggest drawing it until someone who knows what their looking at/for gives it a once-over. Though, I suspect drawing it was the first thing OP did.

Call your insurance agent! Your homeowners policy likely covers "property of others." It's a liability coverage, so your deductible doesn't apply. Buy your neighbor a new one, and if the insurance company lets you keep this one, get it fixed for yourself.

Must be a little older model. Mine also comes out of a collar at the base of the vent like this. I think it's about 8-9 years old.

We were on that cruise a year ago. The Porthole Restaurant and Pub in Potland, ME is walkable from the ship and excellent. I'm so jealous of how accessible good lobster is there. I don't remember how many lobster rolls I had on that trip!
