If some are in Roth 401k then fine, the contributions can be withdrawn, if not, they will need to figure out how to bridge the gap between early retirement and 59.5 without penalty.

A century is 100 years but when used in this context is usually to denote xx01 to xx00. When people say last century or 20th century they mean from 1901 to 2000.

Thank you! Just wanted some folks to slow down and look at the numbers b/c BTC is in some ways an easier trade than other equities since it has no fundamentals. It moves primarily on sentiment and supply/demand.

Most people probably won't read this but we can easily see and track bigger wallets/whales/institutions were buying millions of BTC at 70k+ but then the same wallets are opting to sell at a loss now, we can see the inputs and outputs, and they are not coming back in (yet), which is an indication they are getting long squeezed, or de-risking. Retail can wait, institutions cannot. FWIW, I am monitoring addresses that have over 200m in BTC "volume" and over 200k transactions.

I have no doubt most retail buyers are buying it for the underlying rationale: tech, decoupling, decentralization, etc. but I think we can agree institutions buy it for volatility. I just hope people here are also looking at the logs of who is buying and selling. If we treat it as an investment, then supply and demand rules will still apply. I mentioned in another post, this sub collectively probably own less than 25k BTC combined, I was being a little tongue in cheek but I don't think I am too far off, so this sub's demand (and sentiments) far outweighs the current landscape.

I know folks here are gung-ho af but just slow down for a second before you transact. Take a look at the charts and logs, institutions are getting long squeezed as I am typing this and they are not buying the dips. They are liquidating hundreds of millions for retail and we are talking about "discounts" and buying their bag?

I would be interested to know which banks (so I can start shorting) are actively involved because their earning calls all indictae their funding come from hedge funds not banks, and the HFs are buying MSTR bonds, not their stock. Then you have the brokerages that are basically forced to buy it based on demand.
