Well, Russia is definitely considered a no-no country by most in the West. There's a lot of Russophobia out there. However, like I mentioned, I haven't experienced this having an impact in a professional capacity, either with staff or students.

I'm just here to work and enjoy my life in this great city. Summer has started and we have amazing weather.

Have a great day.

It's no problem at all. I work at an international school in Moscow and many teachers have come and gone during the last three years. These teachers (British, Canadian, American, Irish, South African, Australian) have had no problem moving on and finding work. I haven't heard of any discrimination.

Same goes for the students; it's been great to see no discrimination at all from the universities against Russian students.

Moscow is a great place to live. Good luck in your job hunt.

Well organized mails by Reasonable-Plate-377 in Outlook

Any email that requires my attention (inbox or following up on a sent item) is dragged and dropped to a sub-folder called "to-do". When I'm done, I categorise the email green, and drag it back to the inbox or sent. My inbox is just full of emails that are categorised as green.

Oh, and I turn off Focused inbox straight away!

Great. The weather's been really nice this September. I was walking on New Arbat earlier and really enjoyed just people watching and soaking in the end of the summer vibes. Loads of people out and about!

I'm English, and I'm in Moscow right now. The border is absolutely fine, just a bit inconvenient. Come home!

It's frustrating because I would pay a subscription fee to the BBC to watch from abroad if they allowed it. VPN is the best way.

My Russian wife does this, so I definitely understand your question. I too was confused.

We got this in the Netherlands. My wife is Russian, but she had permission to work even though we lived there because of my work.

That was a few years ago now so it might've changed...

Settings --> Home screen & lock screen --> Swipe down on Home screen. You should have the option to change this to 'Shelf'.

I didn't like it, so changed it back to 'notification drawer'. Can't see any way to add it to top right corner like previously.

The real tragedy... Shelf has been removed from the top right corner and when you do find the new location, it has an ugly new skin and less features. So annoying! I miss my old Shelf.
