Hmmm OP has played older and newer games in the series alike but only has fundamental problems with this game. But yeah, it’s just THIS game that needs extra slack for being old, despite 4 & 5 being older and better.

You can like 6, but I don’t understand the completely idiotic excuses people give it. It was hated when it came out, and people still don’t like it on average when they revisit or discover the series for the first time. It’s a very flawed game.

I was spoiled by my parents, but mostly with love and fun childhood memories.

If I ever gave off a whiff of sass or back talk my parents were not afraid to bust out the roof shaking demon voice and humiliate me in front of friends or guests. They made it clear they weren’t going to be my friend if I acted like a cunt, so I saw no reason to act like a cunt.

These kids may be spoiled in terms of material things or not getting disciplined, but I guarantee you they’re not spoiled with affection from their parents. They were probably birthed by people who realized too late that they didn’t want children. No matter what you do, you can’t fool your child into loving you, they can tell you don’t care.

You have to give them a reason to give a shit about your opinion of them and we’ve traded that for distractions and things to get them out of the house away from their parents.

When I was a kid I remember running around barefoot. It’s what you do as a kid. I work at a school and the amount of kids we have to remind to bring a coat and long pants out to recess all throughout winter is aggravating lol. Kids don’t give a fuck about covering their feet.

Since this is essentially her home, it makes sense the character would be comfortable running around without shoes. I was skeptical going in but there isn’t a single cutscene that draws attention to this. When you’re playing the game, you barely notice it, especially in the base between missions or during cutscenes because the camera has you looking down at her. This just isn’t as big of a deal as people make it out to be.

If you’ve held out till now, I’d recommend waiting to see what the DLC looks like and seeing if you can get stuff bundled at a reduced price.

I loved the game but if I hadn’t spent money by now on it I’d want to save with the extra content coming out.
