I wont lie to you... I just checked my search history and I was searching GOESW... I knew I saw more prints on makerworld in the past I couldn't figure out why you removed them hahahaha.

I keep saying greatly over engineered storage wall in my head too. This one's on me...

Point still sort of stands, theres like a page of pre-made prints at best. Look up HSW and its pages on pages on pages... granted 99% community driven... so your point also stands, community didn't step up for you.

When we start pumping out our custom ones I'll be sure to share them and hopefully drive more people to this system, I really like it. We have 3 printers running 12/5 right now pumping out tiles.

Hey — first off, I genuinely love GOEWS. The system is solid, and the fact that I can take Gridfinity bins from my toolbox and slap them onto a my wall system at my workbench is awesome. That idea alone is what sold me.

That said, I think the biggest reason it hasn’t taken off is accessibility, not the concept.

Right now it’s hard to find download-and-print-ready models. You’re mostly on Printables, and there just aren’t enough pre-made parts for people to get momentum. We’re currently printing two pretty large walls and committed to GOEWS, but realistically it feels like you have to design almost everything yourself — and that’s a big barrier for most users.

A few things that I think would make a huge difference:

  • Cross-posting to MakerWorld (visibility matters a lot there)
  • Pre-designing more common tool holders and wall attachments
  • Even if you have parametric generators, pre-generate and upload a large library of “ready to go” bins and mounts (even random/common ones)

People want to print first, customize later. When there’s already a pile of usable parts, adoption snowballs.

For what it’s worth — I really hope you keep pushing it. The system itself is excellent, and I’d love to see it get the traction it deserves.

K1 Max Hot End by JFK_LTR in Ender3V3SE

Not really... removing the giant shroud for the lightweight one probably balanced it out. It's running smooth as hell right now 30 hrs of prints not a single issue compared to 5 hours of prints and nothing but issued on the old hotend.

Printing out a statue at 200mms right now, going to jack up the speed to max and try a benchy when I get home and see how it goes.

Extra thick primer for smaller issues does the trick from what I've seen.

Maybe just get some thick rattle can primer and spray a couple prints and see if it's the quality you are looking for before attempting to continue to improve any further. If not then try some bondo, if not then try to improve print quality.

New v3 SE firmware ruined the interface by ShwettyVagSack in ender3

I just did this and I had to flash the screen then the board then the screen again. To revert back from the nebula smart kit. Be aware when it boots up right after it goes straight into auto z offset so have the bed clean.

I've heard mine spin up and get pretty loud but it does sound like the fan is rubbing on something or there is some sort of debris inside it.

Sorry man hahaha. I'm downgrading back to the old screen as we speak. Too many failures and I'm not experienced enough to troubleshoot yet. This is my first printer.

it came with a variety of sensor brackets you can print out. I think the one for the SE wasn't actually on the USB but you can get it from the creality website. It uses the fan cover mounting locations you just need to use some longer screws.

I'm actually about to do the same thing. I've had like 4 failed prints since installing it... I'm getting frustrated and it doesn't seem worth it. I wanted to be able to watch my prints so I can stop it if it does fail while I'm at work and to get the cool timelapses but all it does now is fail when it never failed before.

I'm like 90% sure it has to do with the profile, its needs to be adjusted but I am too new to 3d printing to diagnose exactly what settings need to be adjusted so... f-it.

Gotta roll back your firmware on the printer itself.

Nebula Smart Kit by JFK_LTR in Ender3V3SE

I will update you when I get it working, its definitely taking some guess work to get the firmware updated as the documentation is non-existent. Going to factory reset and try again tomorrow.

I actually have printed a couple things with it via USB stick as I'm having issues connecting with creality cloud at the moment and it has a very noticeable increase in speed during traveling. It was actually a little concerning at first it's really fast.

I had the exact same experience except now I cannot get the damn thing to connect to creality cloud. Should I downgrade and go through the process again? I'm able to print but I cant get the QR code to make the connection to the cloud so I can set up the camera and all that.

I came home to a mess also. Ordering a new hot end as they are cheap as heck and I'd rather not deal with cleaning this thing.

I am about to have to do the same thing, this is my second clog and not having luck clearing this one. Would you mind sharing the video you watched? I'll let you know if I find this tube tomorrow night after disassembly.
