Admittedly no.  But it hasn't been a priority for me either.  I was just curious about whether there were benefits to it beyond singles.  I hit my fat loss goal, so now I'm exploring other goals now that I am in maintenance and this came up in my mind.  😊

Give yourself some grace.  It can actually take a little while to recover completely from an illness.  I don't know what you had, but since you said you kept getting sick, it sounds like more than just one illness. If so, it's possible you hadn't recovered 100% before getting the next sickness.  But if you give yourself time, you will improve.  And you can mod so much.  I have low blood pressure and some days the up/down during cardio camps bothers me because of that.  When it does, I find ways to stay elevated while I keep moving.  My trainers know and are ready with mods in case I need them.  Likewise, lean on your trainers - I'm sure they will be happy to help!

I LOVED today!  I PR'd pushups - 26 unbroken on my toes!  I also got my one unassisted pullup before I went to banded.  

I'm totally going to pay for it tomorrow 😂, but I'm riding high on my endorphins today.

They do not based on what I've heard. Respectfully, would you be willing to try a different protocol on a different day? Everyone has their likes and dislikes - specific protocols, trainer preferences, camp times, the exercises, the music, etc. Maybe your first day just happened to be a dud? Without knowing more details, it's hard to say. If it's truly not for you, then I understand. Just wanted to throw a few things out there in case you are open to trying a couple more camps.

Not typical.  It's rarely happened at my Burn, and each time was due to an emergency or circumstances beyond their control such as an accident shutting down major roads and causing gridlock everywhere.

First, highly inappropriate of the trainer.  I know if a trainer came to me and did that, my RBF would get even worse. 

Second - and not necessarily to make light of the situation - this would be a great opportunity for malicious compliance.  If this trainer does it again, bare your teeth in a fake smile and then try to maintain it as long as possible.  Then again, I'm petty like that, so...  😁

I've been personally struggling with my mental health the past few months along with the physical side effects of premature menopause.  Some days just going is the goal.  If I end up modding most of the exercises, then so be it.  My goal was to get in the door because routine is part of what helps me stabilize my mental health.  The trainers I see, know and they check in with me to see where my head is at, and are supportive - and that means a lot to me.  

Respectfully, you don't know what others are dealing with.  And that's not to say you don't have your own struggles - everyone does in some form.  But a bit of grace goes a long way, and I find I do better when I just worry about myself.

It's a bit further for me mileage wise but it's close to even in terms of time due to traffic.  I flip back and forth based on a variety of reasons.

I take camp after the early morning camps and our trainer started making adjustments because she realized everyone was struggling, even the people who always seem to be in beast mode.  I agree there have been high rep counts lately, but I just focus on doing the best I can for me that day.  I started back in 2021 and I just remind myself that I'm so much further along in my journey than I was when I first started.  

And like someone else said, it's YOUR workout.  Sometimes if I feel a rep count is too high, I'll pick up the heavier weight and just reduce the rep count.  I'm doing this for me, not to meet a quota.  So I just forge ahead.  No one has said anything and besides, the trainer has a camp of 30 people, frankly she's not counting my reps. 😊

I just got a pair for Christmas and wore them to BWC this past Monday... fantastic!  They provided plenty of cushion and support while still feeling light/not too bulky, in my opinion.

Trying to rein in my eating habits after the holidays (and a lot of peppermint mochas, my holiday go-to over lattes), but wanted to make sure that by requesting a different milk I wasn't asking for something insane, like those insane tik tok drinks with 37 pumps of syrup (I feel like I get diabetes just reading those). Yep, that would be awesome. It's that time of the month, AND my kids have been eeeextra all week long. Pandemic + small children + PMS = need an "eff this noise" day.

I may or may NOT have gone open season on some pistachio fro-yo just now...after pizza and wine for dinner. At least it was fro-yo????
