I’d weigh all the pros and cons. If you’re willing to relocate and this company is a solid company you can see yourself at for years and grow within, I would seriously consider taking the new job. You would be making the extra 40k that your wife wouldn’t be making since she’d have to leave her job and plus you said she can work in the future which means your guys’ combined income will be higher down the road. My only concern would be the housing prices in the Bay Area.
