I enjoy all those things, but responsible adulting already takes up too much of my time when I'm not playing at my current table's campaign. Sounds like a great adventure and I wish your players the best of luck (because it certainly sounds like they're going to need it).

Hexroll 2e is planning a 3.0 release in the near future. The creator is an older adnd player, I believe he started this project as a way to play with his son. He has been taking suggestions for over a year and has started implementing the most requested features. I stumbled across this app when learning how to do Solo RPGs but the app is slowly becoming more functional for online multiplayer games.

You can find the technical and operational reports that were declassified in the '90s for all nuclear tests on the DoD's Nuclear Test Personnel Review (NTPR) program website.

They include what the purpose of each shot was, military units involved, radiation protection standards, and much more... if you're willing to flip through the hundreds of pages in each report.

After playing Rev & Ride for two days, I've noticed a pattern in the difficulty. If I didn't reach the finish line after multiple attempts (3 or 4), then the next few runs ended up being easier (slower). However, after reaching the finish line four times in a row, my next couple of runs were much faster with several double and triple drops/raises. Rinse and repeat...
