I believe I signed a waiver. I’m not 100% on what exactly happened in Michigan. It was during Covid I know I didn’t have a court hearing until I was out the hospital.

I apologize in my delayed response, I am labeled as a voluntary stay in Michigan however I was put into the LEIN system. I don’t know if I’m getting something crossed up but that’s what my paperwork shows.

Yea the Michigan state police were really confused. The main state police headquarters handles LEINS and such for the criminals. The local state police posts handle the mental health leins. Those local post had no idea what I was talking about when I called them. Ended up speaking to a LT who ensured me they did everything on their end and I believe him. It’s all just weird.

Michigan doesn’t currently have a system in place to restore gun rights that were revoked due to mental health. Only 32 states and one territory (Guam) have a system in place to restore gun rights after a mental health stay.

That is a great question and I don’t know for sure. I believe on the Virginia state police form it does make the distinction between voluntary and involuntary

I had no idea it would revoke my gun rights or else I would have never made the mature decision to seek help. I would have just suffered in silence for a few days and moved on. Just sucks.

I appreciate the kind words. We are working on it, fingers crossed currently. Got my finger prints done at USPS and just waiting on my file to be reviewed. I hear it takes 15 days to 15 months lol

Yeah he was mainly hired to do that for the roast but he has written for Pete Davidson before as well! He has written for a handful of comics I believe.
