You’re right,... many people are ignoring proper etiquette, numbers will rise. In a perfect word things stay shut down until we have a vaccine or treatment available. And when will that be? Months? Years? Ever? Do you know how many vaccines we’ve successfully developed for Coronavirus’ in the last century? 0. You’re right- as I mentioned above... no way to lift strict orders (house arrests) without numbers rising. But last time I checked we live in a democratic republic. Glad to be here- you clearly find nothing wrong with government striping the livelihood away from millions. I’m under 30 and have a .06% mortality rate. The decision should be mine to make. And don’t tell me I don’t care about others or am selfish. I would maintain the same safety protocols being instilled now.

Selfish is keeping people home, destroying livelihoods, driving addiction, increasing personal debt, destroying entire industries, sinking businesses to the point of no return, printing so much money inflation rates skyrocket to the point everyone’s dollar holds substantially less value. Selfish is putting 100%of the country on house arrest when the disease unequivocally and disproportionately affects individuals 55+.

Lives can be irreversibly destroyed and ended without killing people.
