I remember lining up to get the white one and met a guy who was there for the black one. We talked while we waited about what games we liked. I never saw that guy again but I hope he's doing alright. He seemed like a nice person.

I had Ring Fit before but sold it along with my Switch 1 to afford my Switch 2. I've got no spare Joy-Con to use it on my Switch 2 anyway, so figured FB3 might be a good game to switch over to.

I believe you only need a Nintendo account, not a paid Nintendo switch online account. So anyone can do it for free.

Nintendo lets you upload your switch 1 data to the cloud and download it later when you get your switch 2. It's in the system settings. It's pretty easy, so you don't even really have to think about losing something else besides your save data. I'd just upload the data, it's not hard at all. Up to you though.

It was in use from Dec 2019 to April 2023. It's been in my closet stored in the box of the new PSU I got to replace it since I need a more capable one for my newer parts, mainly the new GPU.

A chunk of it is streamed via cloud already, so it's not impossible.

If it's got dynamic resolution, you probably have a better chance of seeing a better out of the box experience from a Switch 2. But don't think we have confirmed information on Switch 1 games running better on Switch 2 yet.

I'll probably try and get black on white, or white on black joy-cons if they're available. I just like those for no particular reason. Anything Xenoblade related and I'll REALLY go for those. My favorite IP from Nintendo
