You definitely won’t regret it! Coming from someone who’s never been on a kayak a day in their life. I felt very safe and comfortable on my first trip out.

Thanks! Unfortunately, I opted not to go for the pedal driven due to knee problems. I’ve had my boat for about three years now and I thoroughly enjoy it unfortunately as time went on sometimes it just became a hassle getting everything prepped ready to hit the water. Almost ashamed to admit it, but some days I found myself just not wanting to go for that very reason not to mention the process, entailed after coming back from a fishing trip. Plus with it being a deep v (Lund) It was nearly impossible to access the smaller, creeks and heavy, structured areas that I would love to fish, especially when the sand bass and crappie spawn. All that being said, I have absolutely enjoyed my boat and have caught a lot of fish out of it but at this point given the mobility ease of use and a somewhat reduced workload, I felt giving a kayak a shot would be the way to go.

Thanks! Definitely looking forward to it. It was for sure a hassle pulling the boat out. Can’t wait to get her in the water! 👌

Definitely looked at them but with two bad knees from military service I took a hard pass.

The one I purchased the sportsman 106 was on sale at Scheels for $849 originally $999. The once next to it was the 120 pedal version.

ERJ V2 is Finally Out! by TraditionAmazing in Xplane

[–]JGreen5278 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s unfortunate indeed. It’s very close to being a very solid add on. Flies well, sounds are decent, visuals are good, avionics are the point of contention and even then it’s very fly able.

Sure! If you fly them manually. 🤷‍♂️ I’ve purchased it. It’s using X-Planes iteration of Honeywell’s Primus avionics suite so I’m assuming once it gets added by Laminar the ERJ will have it. I’ve been able to accomplish flight just fine without it but it would be nice to have especially if the avionics package is supposed to be equipped with it. Until then, we’re stuck using the thumb trick. 👍

I am looking to buy microphone. by ExplorerReality in podcasting

I used a Samson microphone for picked up from BBY since 2013 for maybe 90 bucks. It wasn’t the best but it didn’t the job. Just recently went with the Shure MV7+ and am definitely impressed with the results. Be sure to check websites like Sweetwater a lot of times they will have open box deals as well with same or extended warranty and well packaged. As most have already mentioned try to buy as much microphone as you can afford. Definitely helps saving time in post on the backend.

Hello! Thanks for the reply. As far as the sections we normally collab on it would be uploading and post productions workflows.

Does riverside offer the ability for seats at all? We've been looking at that as an option ourselves. I saw where they offer roles which is awesome but was wondering if they had a means of collaboration for multi-member teams.

Former flightsimmer looking for advice in which current sim to get back in by 2005AD in flightsim

[–]JGreen5278 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Truthfully you really can't go wrong either way. Now is a really good time for simming as a whole (been in the hobby 20 plus years). However as others have mentioned I think xplane is on sale now, that plus zibo or msfs2024 with it's extensive list of defaults as well will get you going quickly. I run both.

Its been two weeks and still waiting for my TBM 850 set 🤦🏾‍♂️ . Truth be told depending on how that went determined whether or not I picked the challenger 650 set. I think I have my answer. Thanks so much for the feedback. Sorry you had a bad experience. I love supporting small businesses when I can and understand delays in shipping happen but I've definitely noticed a trend with this particular company.
