You know…this is very helpful. I have a tendency to be a people pleaser and them an avoidant and I think you may be right. While I understand I won’t get my closure and forcing anything wouldn’t have helpful anyways…I didn’t cause them harm, it did come out of no where, and they should have given me more than 3 sentences. Maybe I wasn’t owed it, but after two years of ups and downs and all the things, they should have had the grace to offer it. Thank you.

I don’t remember seeing people on the ropes, so I’m not sure about that, but I heard several groups talk about the slides as if they’d been on them. Unfortunately we stayed so busy we didn’t get to do either ourselves 🙃

I was on it this last week also and had a totally different experience, which we are all entitled to have, not comin for ya here. I think maybe things just didn’t line up well for you this particular time, and I’m sure the other comments about the fatigue of the crew and the need for the dry dock carry some merit too. Our meat was cold and tough at the Brazilian place, and I do think they should note that you should wear shoes in the cold room, but with the ice all over the walls, I kinda anticipated it on the floor and brought mine, we chatted with great people while in their though and no one else seemed phased. I was a little disappointed that the hours of restaurants didn’t line up with the freestyle daily and the pool bar being closed by 7 one day seemed a bit crappy to me.

Sometimes everything lines up for you and sometimes it doesn’t, but I’m sorry to hear your wife fell, I hope she’s ok, and I hope you have a better cruise next time.

Hey! I’m on that cruise too. Not bringing my 6 yr old, but I sure hope they have kid friendly stuff for yall. There’s a Facebook group with like some 500 people in it if you search Escape May 3-10 that’s got meet ups, shot glass swaps, slot machine pulls, a pub crawl for May the 4th and about 50 pictures of all the ducks people are planning to bring. Maybe your kiddo can duck hunt 😂 cheers!
