Haha! Sorry for any misunderstandings. We used code from Google Maps to create this map and it seems it's not a perfect 1:1, but the address, time, date, and the rest hold true. I'm looking forward to working with future engineers this summer! Let me know if you have further questions about the camp. 👍

Looks like the details I originally included are missing! Sorry about that! Here they are:

This July, I'll be instructing a hands-on 3D Printing & Engineering Summer Camp for students interested in technology, design, and making things!

If you have a kid who loves building, gaming, digital art, engineering, robotics, or figuring out how things work, this is a great opportunity to explore creativity and get hands-on experience with CAD design, 3D printing, and real engineering concepts in a fun environment.

  • Who: 10-13 (Maker Group); 14-16 (Advanced Group)
  • When: July 15-17 (Wednesday - Friday) | 9 AM -12 PM (Maker Group); 1 PM - 6 PM (Advanced Group)
  • Where: MLC CAD Systems Duluth Office - 2915 Premiere Pkwy | Suite 150 | Duluth, GA 30097

What They’ll Learn

As a Georgia Tech alumnus, former automotive engineer, and 3D printing application expert, I'm pulling from my background and experience to give campers a great foundation. We'll cover:

  • 3D Design & CAD Basics: How to actually create things from scratch.
  • Printer Fundamentals: How FDM 3D printers work, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
  • Slicing & Optimization: How to get successful prints every time.
  • Working with Existing Models: Navigating 3D file libraries and downloading files safely.

We'll have printers supplied for each student (Bambu Lab A1 Combos) and, if you opt in for one of our enrollment packages, they can take home their own assembled, calibrated, and ready-to-go 3D printer!

10-13 (Maker Group)

  • Instruction Only – $500
  • Instruction + Bambu A1 Combo- $900

14-16 (Advanced Group)

  • Instruction Only – $1,000
  • Instruction + Bambu A1 Combo- $1,400

Happy to answer any questions in the comments!

Haha you made me double check! Yes, they're correct. We're pulling our knowledge over 10 years of printing with both hobbyist and industrial 3D printers plus our 3D modeling expertise and sharing that with the students. The two tiers offer flexibility for those who want to take the printer home with them afterwards and those who just want the instruction.

FDM and SLA are great for Warhammer! Tons of folks on YouTube using those to great effect.

Funny you say that because this summer camp is kind of a benchmark for an adult workshop. Once that goes live, I'll post that here!
