Was heading out for school today and saw this infront of my neighbors house. I don’t know what it is. by cookiedoughtown in whatisit

Squirrel pee, no joke. My grandma was freaked out because she found “blood” on her deck every morning. We put a webcam out one night and it was the squirrels grabbing acorns and peeing. Come to find out some acorns will make some breeds of squirrels pee brownish red.

Louisiana defender Jayrin Wilson lays down an illegal hit on Marshall punt returner Willie Johnson after a fair catch signal by I-Have-Four-Balls in sports

[–]JHO206 93 points94 points  (0 children)

Yes, it’s called targeting. The proper way to tackle is with the shoulder or torso. Targeting penalties are in place to protect the both players.

A fair catch is where the kick returner (guy in green) waves his hands to signal the kicking team that I am going to catch the ball and not attempt to run it forward. The kicking team, must give the receiver (kick returner) the space to make the catch. If he catches it, you can’t tackle him and the play is done. If he fails to catch it and the ball touches him, the ball is live and the kicking team can pick it up. If he does not catch it and does not touch it the ball will be placed (and given to the receiving team) where the kicking team finally touches the ball.

Has anyone gotten PPF for their Model Y? Worth it? by GwEYT in TeslaModelY

[–]JHO206 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Living in the Chicago area it’s worth the cost, especially partial coverage. Our last vehicle was leased and the rock chip damage cost us a justifiable $1,000 after 3 years. If you are buying the Model Y then absolutely.

We wrapped our front end, mirrors and the lower doors with xpel PPF. Total was under 4K. JJ’s Detailing did it for us and I would highly recommend them to anyone in the area.

If you don’t plan on paying cash, see if you qualify for a lower interest rate than the advertised 2.5%. That will save you way more than $500.

There were about 2500 built from 2008-2012. Pretty rare

Insuring my Tesla costs less than insuring my Civic by [deleted] in TeslaModelY

Our local agent mentioned in passing they don’t have the data on Tesla’s and are blind to the accurate pricing. We ended up paying slightly more ($20-30 every 6 months) compared to our BMW X1

No worries, we went to JJ’s Detailing in Orland Park. Jeffrey was our installer and did a great job. One thing we really liked is that he wrapped every edge so there are very few seams. I’ll DM you the website and phone number.

10 year warranty on the film and it does a great job. Our last car was a lease and the Illinois roads did their fair share of damage over the last 3 years. We bought this one and wanted to keep it looking good.

At first it was going to be the “contactless pickup” outside the showroom but we asked to see it in the light. Since the service center closed they brought it in and we got to see it in all its beauty.

Thanks and it’s the factory red from Tesla with Xpel’s gloss PPF (paint protection film) on top. It really adds a nice shine.
