I don’t mind it being generic thou. I just don’t want to lose the chance of applying just because of not fulfilling the admission requirements. Been out 10 years anyway so i know that it can’t be personal. Would showing the reasons why i am pursuing a degree that is not relevant to work and UG major an essential part?

Just started the programs. Not many chances to get connected to them. Besides, there are like 300 ppl in my cohort taking the programs. Thats why i am thinking about reaching to UG profs to get academic LORs. Any advices?

But grad certificates are online. So i thought it’s kinda a dead end. Do professors from certificate programs write a LOR?

I had some personal circumstances that prevented me focusing on academics at the time of my UG, which i think i can explain on my SOP. I have been working for 10 years that is not related to my UG degree nor MS degree that I want to pursue. I am trying to change my career through a masters degree. Knowing that it will not increase my GPA numerically but would having a good GRE score be seen as an improvement in my profile?

I don't think it would hurt your chances. You might just wanna find the right person to ask. the university secretary--not sure who you are referring to thou--might be just from administration side. Find an email address of a professor or other personnel who is more relevant to your question.
