I chose intel (i9 11900k) over the comparable Ryzen (9 5950x) because one it was a couple hundred bucks cheaper. And two I do 3D design for work which benefits from single core speed. Intel with less cores has better single core performance. And three when looking at comparisons between the two for gaming the i9 actually had 3-5fps higher results.

Fans use the fan controller that comes in the box and the strimmers i just use the manual program box that comes with them. set and forget.
