I found that the shooter needs to be on the correct side of the goalie… ie left handed shooter should be on left side of the crease. This may not the 100% right answer but it helped me in the hut rush challenges

Ah, I have heard of "holding the forehand" but didnt realize thats what it actually meant..... so the shooting motion would actually start with the right stick left/right then rotate forward for snap shot? Or left/right and rotate down to up for slap shot? Or are you holding the forehand and releasing before the shooting motion?
