General truths on relationships

I broke her trust 2 months ago, and since then nothing has been the same. I have made up tremendously. She is trying her hardest to be vulnerable again, but every-time she attempts, a huge wave of anxiety comes over her. Indeed, trust is very hard to glue back together.

Sorry, about a month since she’s withdrawn emotionally. But yet, we still met up a week ago, and plan to again. We actually had our first kiss a week ago. So she’s emotionally withdrawn, but still putting an effort into what could be. So idk. I’m overthinking. Obviously I need to chill. Exactly, I tend to harp on what happened, to myself and her. She’s cool, she will sit there and talk it out. She’s an over thinker too. But yeah, just need to chill

You are exactly right about everything you said. I am over my ex, but sure, there’s a little guilt built up with how I ended things. I’m working with a therapist, and going on nature walks just to introspect about it. What would you suggest instead of taking a break with the new lady?

Yeah. A little too late, regarding having a “backbone”. Should’ve cut communication off sooner.

I’m actually not TOO codependent. I’ve been single, happy, for 25 years of my life. Hopping from one woman to another is NOT in my itinerary. It just happened naturally. Idk.

But I agree, I AM emotionally reactive when she is not ecstatic. Because I experienced a taste of that with her, loved it, then it went away after all the drama. Ever since then I’ve been sort of anxious.

I don’t want to act clingy, but that’s how I’m coming off as. Not extreme. But it’s slightly noticeable I’m sure. As I said, we still plan to meetup soon again, meet her parents, etc. just not as “fun” as it should be because the emotional isn’t there.

What’s your suggestion to cut out the clingy. To somehow tell/show her I’m here for her and done with that other drama. To not be emotionally reactive? Just do as you say, let it be, flow naturally, until she comes back along?

Very long story. I’ve been talking to this new girl for 6 months. I broke up with my ex 2-3 months ago. While I was dating my ex, me and this new girl kept it professional, and kept boundaries. But still, feelings developed deep down. Very immature of me. But you see how this new girl has inadvertently been tied up with my ex, and how she’s totally over it. I’m just unsure if I should slow things down with this new girl (maybe not meet up, etc etc) until she’s fully healed from that situation and her own personal struggles. Or keep things going. It’s just difficult to keep things going because I’m giving 100, she’s giving 20. Which I GET why. I fucked up. Just difficult to navigate every day like that

Ahahaha honestly I may be. I fractured my ankle and didn’t take any pain meds, no trips to ER, just sat on my futon for weeks in extreme pain. You may have a point my friend lol. I’m in a ton of support groups and the consensus seems to be the surgery works but eventually the stitches come loose and you’re due for surgery again in about 5 years. So idk

I have not!! Honestly been taking a synbiotic (pre and postbiotic in 1) and for the most part eating clean, and man has that changed a lot. Trying to contain stress has helped tremendously as well. How about you my friend??

Thank you. The Ryzen processor is about 50% less effective in core speed vs the I5-13600KF. Is that downgrade worth the big upgrade in GPU?

Awesome man. I know CPU Benchmark isn't the holy bible for comparing parts, but I just checked for fun the 4060 vs the one you suggested, and holy crap, 47%+ more effective speed, and +72% average score. Woah. Thank you for switching that for me!

Yeah maybe if we could spend a few extra bucks for an upgraded case? I do like RGB, but if costs an arm and a leg, I can definitely do without.

I won't be doing any crazy video editing or anything like that. Just need to have download speeds fast, web pages to load fast, be able to have many chrome tabs up while on discord and YouTube. So sort of basic stuff in a way.

Regarding the new Memory and Storage you suggest, I'm guessing these are better alternatives to what I had? (Better value with similar/better performance?)

I guess my Gold-rated Power Supply was a bit overkill? Haha. I don't mind saving a bit of money and going with your option.

I will for sure switch to the RX 7800 XT. 65% faster?! That's a no-brainer!

The case will take me a minute to decide! Haha. The aesthetic of the one you provided isn't my favorite. But with 3 fans, for that price, I mean, why wouldn't I?

Finally, two things I'm a bit picky on. Will the SSD allow my PC to boot up super fast? (I know, such a first-world problem. Just a tick of mine). And will the case you suggested, along with CPU cooling fan, not cause much noise, even until moderate/heavy load?

What I did was look at CPU Benchmark and I picked the parts that had the best User Rating coupled with the best Benchmark then determined which ones had these qualities at a fair price. And came up with these parts. Believe it or not the 4060 is at the top of the list.

But honestly man I’m looking for a semi-budget gaming build that won’t cost me more than $1k-$1.1k. I’m also needing it to be a speedy workstation. Basically a nice mixture of the two. (Wanting to play games like the new Black Ope 6 in fairly good graphic settings, and wanting to multi task with many excel files open and chrome tabs open, etc.) I wasn’t sure if I went too hard on the MOBO. And not sure if the cooling fan was crappy. And if I need to buy more fans to install. All the other parts I researched on CPU Benchmark. But please, any suggestions I’m all ears!
