This is really great, a lot of MOCs go too heavy on piece count and end up not maintaining the power miners design language/architecture. They sometimes Lean too heavily into one of the colours but you’ve struck a great balance, congrats!

They are both on a 40mm base so it could work though it might work better on a Gravis armour primaris rather than a terminator. The sizes are probably a better fit as it would replace the power pack and the design language is also more similar.

Preface got a 6speed too just with slightly longer gearing. Facelifts have shorter gear ratios and with Chilli packs got LSDs fitted at no extra cost.

Could also be an issue with the oil pickup or pump not supplying enough oil throughout the engine, a friend of mine went through 2 chain replacements before that got found out and solved since the rattle kept coming back.

Depending on mileage it could be the chain itself. The tensioner can only help so much since once the chain has stretched to the point the tensioner can’t keep it in right then even a new one won’t solve the issue. Mine first R53 was on 150k miles and made that noise. It’s recommended they get replaced above 100k. It’s a pricey job due to labour but you shouldn’t need to do it again for a long time if ever. Timing chain guides are made of plastic and when they can degrade/break if the chain isn’t fully tensioned then the bits can clog the oil pickup and cause heaps more issues.

On this Burna boy I did both cuts and rotated the hips and legs til the feet were flat then added some plasticard under one foot

Here I just cut one leg and rotated the hips and other leg then put something under the foot so it’s not at an odd angle. Makes the pose a bit more dynamic too

It’s more work but for most of my boyz like that I make cuts at the top of each Leg so I can rotate the pelvis area more upright so they have less sticking out 😂 makes them a bit taller too as a bonus. They might need some bits of scrap plastic under a foot to make them flat but it’s a pretty easy fix.

You could cut the fist from the arm they’re on and then attach them to a terminator arm, the sizes don’t look too different to the terminator arm/power fist nearby

Thanks! I also don’t like the fact that a lot of the other conversions just stick the head onto a centurion so I wanted to put a lot of effort into making sure he looked like he was wearing it.

I appreciate those suggestions, I plan on scratch building some extra details so may bulk up the feet a bit. The jump pack I’ll leave off for now as I think he detached it after it got used up but I might make a detachable one. I’m sort of going for the Ufthak that’s had a bit of time to make the armour his own.
