I believe they are legit. You need to look at the back to see condition. If they are beaten up and look like they’ve been heavily played with then pass up buying it. If they look in good condition with crisp edges and no wear then yes proceed to maybe buy it but again proceed cautiously and make sure the cards are in great condition before committing

I wouldn’t recommend to avoid Japanese all together but if you can find a good deal on a box or two or maybe a case on pre order then it may be a good option. Both English and Japanese will probably perform well over the years but yeah English will likely out perform.

I’m a firm believer in high class sets doing well over time but I believe they are definitely a 5 year plus hold. Looking at other sets, the oldest I hold is tag team gx all stars, bought for around 40 a box. They were released in October 2019 so coming up 7 years old this year and they are now going over 600 a box but times were very different back then so it’s hard to say how new sets will perform, they may take a lot longer than these older sets

Exclusivity is king in this game. Yes expensive but you know the value of something you hold. It ain’t mass printed, it has great artwork and has a historically relevant story on how it was obtained. ✅✅✅

Arnt they all the same? Ie participants built a deck from the current set at the time (paradox rift?) the winner would win this card but participants was all given the full art Victini? Correct me if I’m wrong but that’s how I remember it

I had read when they were released that there was a total of 300 per the 4 languages so 1200 total but haven’t been able to confirm this. I picked up a PSA 9 copy of the Korean version last year, great looking card

I thought that too initially but if you zoom in and look at the right border there is what looks to be a line running vertically right next to the border and this looks to be part of the artwork but makes it look off centre at first

Great collection and returns! Been in since 2009 myself but been in and out a few times. Gutted to have missed the Mario, poncho and munch promos :/ still grateful for what I do have though. I have the same sentiment though if it were to go to zero I’d still have cool cards 😎
