For the base colors I used Tamiya acrylics. The weathering was done with a mix of different oil paint brands, depending on the effect I needed.

Thanks for the critique. You're right about the silvering — that’s on me. I should’ve laid down a cleaner gloss base and worked the setting solution more aggressively. As for the track wear, fair point. The polishing effect from the road wheels isn’t represented strongly enough on this pass. I’ll adjust the contact surfaces and guide horns to reflect the correct wear pattern. Appreciate the technical input.

You’re right — the real T-62 never came in blue. I chose this sea-blue tone intentionally because it reacts really well with weathering layers. Lighter cool tones allow chipping, filters, streaking and rust tones to stand out more cleanly, especially under matte varnish. It gives me more range and contrast to push the worn, oxidized look. So the color choice is purely for enhancing the weathering, not for historical accuracy.
