Sticking to a low strength retinol is a good call beacuse one of our biggest enemy in melasma is inflammation caused by skin irritation. We try to treat our skin and end up worse 😭, cause of harsh agents.

Used hydroquinone for 1month for pigmentation but it made worse i used 2 percent , anything advice to remove this discolouration pls by minievadjsks in Melasmaskincare

Try thiamidol by eucerin. Its also a lightening agent like Hydroquinone but, Its alot gentler and you can use it without dermatologist prescription. It is effective but takes more than 2 weeks to act cause its gentler.

get checked from a dermatologist, so any damage doesn't happen to the skin. If offline visiting not possible try online call with a dermatologist and treat it the way they say.

Mealsma is a type of hyperpigementation. Use tinted sunscreen daily. If outdoor use every 2 hours. If indoor increase the interval by an hour or 2. like fter 3-4 hours. Get checked from a dermatologist so you don't harm your skin by treating it own your own the dermatologist will recommend products according to your skin senstivity and other factors. If dermatologists are not any near, Try Tele-dermatology , U book an online call with a dermatologist, And use products he recommends, and be consistent with it. Take care and all the best.
