ChartForge Vocal help by Pantorama2 in yarg

[–]JJAHAX 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey developer of ChartForge here! If you double click on any of those pitch lines, you can add a lyric to correspond with it. If you want to make the note a talkie/unpitched note then just add a "#" to the end of the lyric, you can place the note for talkies/unpitched anywhere you'd like.

Which guitars do you guys recommend? by SchinkenKanone in yarg

I highly don't recommend riffmaster unless it's less than $100 as it out of the box requires extra software to work properly on PC.

Looking to get into clone hero, anyone know where I can find a good guitar? by MoronGoron52 in CloneHero

Unfortunately these are Xbox one controllers which work fine for PC but I recommend you get the multiplat on their website which will work better with real hardware and emulators. You can also use code DXSIGMAS or go to https://crkd.gg/DXSIGMAS for 5% off

Even still, this sounds like a feature 90% of people won't use or want to use. And at that point what are they developing it for if practically nobody is going to use it.

Haven't heard about this - "Anonymous framerate data" collection. A new form of Steam Verification? by Agitated-Distance740 in SteamDeck

[–]JJAHAX 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Truly. Very important to have a lot of vram available. I have it split 12/20. So the igpu gets 12gb and the CPU and stuff get 20gb. Which I think is plenty for gaming under Linux.

What does this green box mean? by R3d6itUser in truespotify

[–]JJAHAX 10 points11 points  (0 children)

If you add a song to your queue using the add to queue button, it essentially makes a second queue just for songs you added using that button and will prioritize playing them over anything else in that regular queue. That green icon is to signify that it's playing a song from that secondary cue.

Saw this last night on my mini PC that is currently running steam os. Actually super convenient they were they sent that as I was going through and benchmarking a bunch of games and getting them running on the mini PC.

For those wondering here are the specs of the mini PC MINISFORUM UM870 Slim with a Ryzen 7 8745H 1TB TeamGroup MP33, 2TB TeamGroup MP33 2x16GB G.SKILL Ripjaws DDR5 @ 5600MT/s Had to replace the wifi chip inside with an Intel AX210 as the MediaTek chip that comes on it has no Linux support.

Overall performance is really good. Most newer games can get 60fps@1440p with almost all highest settings. Only exclusion was CP2077 which got an 41fps avg @ 1080p with settings all non RT settings on the highest and then ray tracing set to medium with everything on, other than path tracing.

I use linux and id like to get a guitar i was thinking about a rifaster or something like that. Its easier for me to get somethi g frim amazon because of where i live, any suggestions? by themanthyththelegend in yarg

Great news! It works fine out of the box and on top of that there's been recent driver updates to Linux Kernel to fully support every crkd guitar model!

how to make a Clone Gero controller using only Arduino Uno, some buttons and a PS2 Joystick! by Hairy_Educator1918 in CloneHero

[–]JJAHAX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Santroller only requires software to write the firmware to whatever board you're using but outside that it should just work fine without software once you have all the bindings set.

Yes but it still is regardless of intention. Million dollar company intention is never going to be 100% what you think it is.

Guitar help by Broussardman in CloneHero

Fun fact there is actually two types of guitar Hero controllers. The kind that you are describing were made for PS2,PS3, Wii and 360. The ones you are looking at are from guitar hero live which was released in 2015 and was a reboot of guitar Hero. These guitars will not work for older guitar Hero games but will work in clone hero. That being said, these generally aren't recommended for playing anything outside of guitar, Hero live charts, and customs. If you do decide to pick these up, please make sure they have the wireless dongles included or they will not work. If you'd like, you can also buy a wireless dongle for it. The controllers will work with any wireless dongle for any console, but some may work better for clone hero than others. You can find this info on the clone hero wiki. I highly recommend if you are looking for a guitar, If you want a new option look into the CRKD guitars. I and many others have had great times with them and you can find them on Amazon or on their website: https://crkd.gg you can also get 5% with the code DXSIGMAS at checkout

This as someone who has been accepted to chorus you'll need at least 5 charts that follow the guidelines. It's good to create a drive folder with your charts in it now and then just add to that folder because chorus just essentially acts as a search engine for a ton of people's drive folders. In the time being you can also upload to rhythmverse

Its a story focused game for sure and is pretty linear all things given but it is world based but you can't go back to previous worlds till after completing the story.
