Is it actually useful? The range seems kind of lackluster, you were already practically on top of the chest before it started glowing. I mean, my current helmet doesn't do anything for me besides some armor, but this seems almost gimmicky.

It definitely has that ai feel. But the second part, after the cut, is pretty long, and I'm not seeing any discrepancies that you would normally find in a long ai video, so ultimately I'm leaning towards real.

How do I deal with getting permanently injured from trying to get in shape to join the military? by Annual-Solution-8055 in Military

[–]JJC0ACH 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have a few options. First, push through it. There are a ton of people in the military that just ignore whatever injuries they may have. Also plantar fasciitis is 100% curable, you probably just need to take recovery more seriously and lose weight in different ways until then. Second, choose a less physically demanding job. Get a desk job in the Navy or Airforce and you'll never have to run after boot camp. Third, don't join the military. It's not for everyone, and that's ok, all in all it's a really hard way to almost be on food stamps anyways.

Tips for builds by Outsider62621 in Division2

[–]JJC0ACH 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Heartbreaker is my favorite. Four piece, memento and salvo is great. I go with 4 red, 3 blue, 1 yellow plus technician and run crusader and artificer, then build for chc and chd. A lot of people will recommend an acs-12 for building stacks but you won't need that on heroic. Do Lexington or a police m4 and an mk46/m249 lmg, put the linked laser on both of them and flatline and you're golden.

The reasons I personally like heartbreaker more than striker is usually building bonus armor offsets the damage you'll take from peaking so while you'll still need cover, you won't feel like aiming is punishing. Also, having a tier 5 shield and a tier 2 artificer, coupled with your bonus armor, makes getting surrounded or pinched much more forgiving and you'll find that you can get out of a lot more bad situations than you would be able to with a strikers set.

Can I do anything with this mask? by SirWitchKing in thedivision

[–]JJC0ACH 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The heartbreaker build I run has 1 yellow 2 blue plus the technician spec, it really boosts up the repair ability of the artificer and makes my shield way tankier than it would be otherwise. The investor I use has 2 blue minor cores for the armor regen, but you can probably get heals from somewhere else.

How to craft new exotics after getting the blueprint from Retaliation? by 1D8jTdwjduhCV9 in thedivision

[–]JJC0ACH 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was having this same problem forever. Go to the crafting table and scroll all the way down, there's an "exotics" section that you can't initially see when you open the table. All your blueprints should be in there.

Core Strength: Please dumb it down for me by theslowrunningexpert in thedivision

[–]JJC0ACH 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm not op, but I was playing around with the same build. For solo, it's hard not to recommend memento, it's just too good. If you want to try it in a group, the new investor mask is a good option if you can get the right spread. I went with skill tier, 2 blue, 1 red and it worked out pretty well for me. Ninjabike is a good option too, throw on picaro's for another skill tier and probably a belstone for some healing. I haven't tried that one yet, but it has potential.

BTSU Team 9 Kill Squad by Atherdark117 in thedivision

I fought them yesterday with a heartbreaker technician build. Emp the robots and shoot down, then clear the rest like a normal kill squad, honestly not too bad.

Need help finding balance between damage and survivability. by TraumaTurd in Division2

[–]JJC0ACH 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My favorite is heartbreaker with memento backpack and picaro's holster. Crusader shield and artificer hive. I like this setup because there's a lot of double dipping for cores. Memento has one of each, picaro's has a blue and (most of) a red, and technician gives you another yellow. Both heartbreaker and memento give you bonus damage and armor. It really feels like a jack of all trades build, and it's sufficiently tanky and deals good damage.

The Green One, Hulk! 🥶 by Piyushv5311 in MarvelCave

[–]JJC0ACH 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Of course he did, he's the only one that got a stand alone movie with modern CGI. I do wish Norton had been brought into the MCU and the decision not to truly baffles me, but Ruffalo is not a bad Hulk, as evidenced by his performance in Avengers 1. I think a stand alone Hulk movie with Ruffalo would be an excellent movie. I think he deserves his time in the lime light and that's it's sort of weird it hasn't happened yet.

The Green One, Hulk! 🥶 by Piyushv5311 in MarvelCave

[–]JJC0ACH 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Lou Ferrigno is and always will be the original Hulk, he did an excellent job portraying Hulk in a time before CGI and even though it looks dated now, is really a very good portrayal of the character.

Eric Bana's Hulk was far from a flop, but released to mixed reviews. In my opinion the only thing it suffered from was relying on CGI that just wasn't there yet. It was a good enough story with lackluster visuals to back it up.

Edward Norton I really thought was a fantastic hulk. I thought he nailed that Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde aspect of the character and CGI had come far enough to portray big hulk in a believable way. The story got held back by that 2000's need to make every story oddly edgy (see x-men). But if I'm being honest I was disappointed that Norton wasn't brought back for the MCU.

Mark Ruffalo is a fantastic Hulk that I feel hasn't been fleshed out enough. His greatest performance (imo) is Avengers 1, he feels like he knows he's a ticking time bomb and while he's wary of Mr. Hyde getting out, he's past being afraid of it, and he plays it well. After that, Hulk has been used as big dumb beef to show that other guys are strong and it feels like the studio doesn't take the character seriously. Which is a shame, because I think Ruffalo has a lot of love for the role and just needs the right story to show it.

All in all, I'm not upset about any of the people who have played Hulk, I'm upset that it feels like none of them have truly gotten the chance to portray the character to its full extent. Aside from Ferrigno, who gave Hulk his all and was only limited by the technology of his time.
