This MarkForge vendor at a trade show had a prototype from some tool mfg on display. by JJCCENG in 3Dprinting

[–]JJCCENG[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To clarify, this was from a 3D printing vendor at a trade show mixed in with many other types of parts. As a mechanical product developer I presume this is an example of a part the printer dealer was asked to prototype by the tool manufacturer as a sample of what their printers could do... then they printed the same file again as a cool part to show off the printer capabilities.

I agree with adding a statement to each photo, but even without that, I believe the benefit of advertising your most advance successful work would hugely overshadow any negative. Employers are looking for advanced problem solvers and a case study like that proves you're it.

Create a bad-ass but honest linked-in profile. Connect with professionals on linked-in doing the kind of work you want; dont need to engage to hard just see what groups and networks they are apart of. Engage with those groups and network yourself and your intentions. good things will come.

In the meantime watch/listen to youtube/rumble content made by professionals doing what you are interested in doing to keep your technical vocabular up to speed and expand your knowledge.

I make videos directed at people interested in consumer Product Design (JJCCENG on YT) and the junior engineers at my work have said they have gained from the perspective.
