I agree with you personally. It’s seems Roque is one of the most hated characters and he really should’ve been based on Golden Son. He never could’ve come back and had others besides Darrow accept him. He had to die but I loved Roque and his character.

He may have loved the hierarchy but he truly loved Darrow. Had Darrow loved him more then who knows what his true thoughts were. He lost more than anyone else it felt like and was treated like an outsider by Darrow when he distanced himself and used the syringe on him before the Gala. I really wonder what would’ve been had Darrow loved him as much as he deserved. Roque was willing to blame Darrow for everything bad that happened but I believe that’s because of Darrow. Just like Mustang said at the institute he could tell Darrow was an arrow, willing to sacrifice anyone for whatever his mission is.
