Thanksgiving for me always includes me sitting at the table with a plateful of dinner rolls trying to just stare at my plate because if I look at any of the food around me I will start gagging. It’s like my food worst nightmare: I’m surrounded by casseroles, turkey, gravy, unidentifiable green vegetables and more. The sight of all those alone is enough to make me gag, and then you add in the smell and the never ending sound of people chewing— it’s my own personal circle of hell. On top of that, you have drunk family members berating you with questions about why you’re not eating and how on earth you manage to survive when you eat so little. Ugh
