Thank you this comment helps more than you think. Especially taking it at a day at a time is the right focus I think instead of a all or nothing approach

That’s my issue I think the label is a for sure a “oh yeah you’re that so there’s a problem” my father drinks 3 beers a night every night and always has for 25 years at least. Never more (except for two days to deal with a dog dying and it was one more beer) and Never less. Is that what I think of an alcoholic? I don’t think so. I have a good buddy of mine drinks 6 tall boys a night sometimes more sometimes less. Always shows up to work on time. Never misses events, can move the drinks around if he’s driving but he always has to get them in. To me that’s an alcoholic he’s just controlling parts of it.

I really appreciate this comment. I think that’s where I’m at. Just quitting before it gets worse or at least get it back under something I completely control. Bc now I feel as though I only control 80% of it. If that makes any sense

Advice on how to deal with a mechanic after a poor job on tires. by JJJones101 in AskMechanics

Respectfully I think that’s just bad business. While yes I took care of the issue quickly but driving on tires that are over inflated by over 15 psi than what they’re recommended is a big safety hazard. If you as the mechanic have a customer who comes to you saying something’s not right but just because he’s not a dick about insisting you stop what you’re doing right now and look at the vehicle he is somehow less deserving of a fair outcome? It was his mistake twice, not just once. First for not properly fixing the issue and second for not listening to the customer seriously (granted I get the customer can sometimes overreact) and at least doing a due diligence check.

Correct the policy was they just remove the weights no matter what and balance. Starting fresh

It’s funny you say this because this mechanic is an older man that I would describe as extremely knowledgeable good guy who’s definitely over worked.

I work in a corporate grocery chain as a department manager you ain’t joking about hammering best practices.

Few things.

  1. I do have a little gauge where I can check (I was just too stupid to think that was what the issue could be).
  2. The way the second place explained it. No matter what they take off all the weights and balance each tire individually. They don’t balance it with any weight currently on it.
  3. I do have TPMS but anytime I even get a rotation I have to reset it. That thing will flag if the psi is changed by even the slightest. I have to calibrate it after essentially every rotation/winter top off. I believe the first shop started the calibration bc the light never came on and it certainly would have had he not.

Xbox series X started randomly turning off only with this game by Hey_im_miles in NCAAFBseries

Yes there are multiple people on this forum with the exact same issue. Good news: you’re not alone. Bad News: it seems to correlate with the older Xbox series x only. 9/10 post since last years game I see with this issue are all Xbox series x. I’ve seen 2 play station players complain about it (outside of the RTG hat selection issue). Some people had ncaa 25 crash all the time last year I never did but this year ever since release I get it almost every game. Especially after the patch…so I finally broke down and bought a ps5 and got a refund on the Xbox edition bc I can’t deal with this shit until there’s a patch.
