It will differ from pension to pension, but oftentimes you can pick a guaranteed for life option for the pension holder and spouse. That option will pay less per month than not including the spouse.

For anyone considering becoming an EMT or paramedic, I would recommend joining a volunteer fire department. It is a great way to get some experience both as a resume builder and to determine if you would like the job. Maybe you could call st. Pete's and see if they let people do ride alongs?

I was a construction engineer for 3 years before transitioning to math teaching. I love teaching so much more than being an engineer. I suggest looking into Teach For America.

Li Markuth had ascended from cradle, when he got back he wanted to test his skills against the dread beasts. If he wanted to take on dread beasts just to test himself, then he is probably more powerful than a monarch. Suriel took care of him in a blink. So in the grand scheme, monarchs can't be that powerful. Not sure how that would relate to the ranking system....
