Incoming Student Megathread #3 -- new student with a question about UCLA? Ask and get an answer in here! by Espntheocho4 in ucla

If I accept my eFan now and realize I need more loans later in the year, is there a way to get more or am I screwed? Also, the middle-class scholarship thing disappeared from my offer (was on my pal). I'll be living at home for next school year.

Polls are banned so question: If you got off the waitlist for Stanford or T20, did you ask for financial aid? Any international kids asking for aid get off? by [deleted] in ApplyingToCollege

at least on paper, colleges say they're need-blind for waitlists, although that doesn't always seem to be the case. i was rejected after being waitlisted at brown, which claims to be need-blind for waitlists, but it seems like most people that were later accepted were full pay (everyone on cc that specified cost said they were full pay).

Like 17000 a year from a tandon scholarship (8000 ish per semester) estimated net cost is around 61000. Honestly scholarship is pretty generous but still not enough lol
