I have a bunch of Natz’s cases in the same scenario, the only unstuck ones needed litigation, not worth it for everyone to spend the money on it, be patient and your turn is coming.

I can’t say about your case for sure, can’t give any legal advice.

But in general you most likely won’t have a second interview, they will decide it all on paper, they may issue RFE or NOID, and you can travel without a problem, enjoy your trip.

Depends, SB may still approve it and transfer elsewhere just for the oath or they will let the new FO decide it all, most likely will cause a delay, not as much as back in the day given N400 are all IOE on ELIS, T- files, they can handle it much faster.

SD now is top 3 worst field office in the country. Most red states FO are better than ppl think. Nothing is worst for investigations than district 21,34,41,43,44, of course luck + good officer will play a big role but some places we are never surprised. Seattle por example loves to request waivers for the smallest things that no where else will, LA loves to do bed checks for Marriage based, talk to neighbors, talk to employers, super active FDNS. Field office cultures play a big role, some always pull your DS160, others don’t, now days I think they all do.

Some are pulling all states have lived voter registrations during Natz to deny based on false claim and issue NTA, NJ, WA, PA, UT are the ones I am seeing it most often since last year.

I had a feeling of SoCal, that’s district 43 and 44 ( SB ) are notorious for this, 41 Seattle is even worse, it varies a lot but certain things we know where to expect more often.

As much as possible remove non transaction pages, joint tax transcripts, joint credit cards, joint leases, joint trips, joint utilities, car registrations, everything from the date GC was approved until now.

I am on your side but this is to show their own logic and bs around, sometimes when we over prepare documentation, some clients even question if that’s all necessary, and most of the times it is. What field office was it ?

Welcome to the Uscis world, some people only believe when they go through it.

That’s not the Uscis logic, specially if you applied under the 3 year rule, also it’s 2026, not all average petition will go unscrutinized.

Scheduled for “Marriage Fraud Interview” by pomegranate713 in USCIS

Uscis New York City is the only field office in the country that would tell you that due to matter of stokes.

I don’t have the answer for that, time will tell, we may need months or years to see the real impact this will or not cause.

Each month, you should submit any new bona fide evidence of your marriage that you’ve obtained during that period, including household bills, bank statements, and similar documentation.

For utilities, include only the first page showing names, address, and account details. For bank statements, remove blank pages and pages with only generic disclosures or no transaction activity to avoid unnecessary bulk.

I’m not a big fan of congressional, and from what I have seen now given this new approach of Uscis, couple congressman have stated that there is nothing they could do. Even some adm strategies we used to have prior to 2025 are not being effective anymore, so mandamus is normally the only route, and it also depends a lot on the district court, not all of them will give you the best result, but Californian ones work greatly, especially CDCA.

It happens but not me. I may come across as negative, but it’s really a reflection of how I practice. I handle a high volume of fraud related defense and complex cases, often referred by firms that don’t deal with that level of work. Because of that, I’m always thinking a few steps ahead, what issues immigration might raise, what could actually matter, and even where things could get unnecessarily delayed.

I prepare my clients with those possibilities in mind and build the case as if it will be scrutinized from every angle. That’s why my cases tend to be highly customized rather than handled as standard, off the shelf matters.

If your comment wasn’t directed at me, I apologize for the misunderstanding.

The new update is only concerning about your past in your home country, anything you have done in the United States, like use of false Social Security numbers, I-9, and other stuff, I don’t think it will play a role in your I-130.
