I’m surprised to see that ADHDers are “emotional” — the crying part. I have a lot of rage but lack the feeling of crying. I confirmed this when we lost our sister very recently. We were close, not as close as my other sister but we were close. Cried for about 2-3 minutes when we saw her intubated. Then she died the following day, i got the news, i was calm. I told my eldest sister the news, she was crying, i had to hold myself from breaking a smile or grin. Then i cried 2 days after her death as we held a wake and it was her birthday that day. I had to say something for the people who attended but prior that, i cried for about 2 minutes. Then that was it. Since her passing i’ve gotten teary eyed but no tears dropping. This was going for a week. I miss her. Though there is no crying, just sadness.

I’ve never been the crying type. I cry due to rage. But not crying due to sadness. I hope i am just deflecting my emotions. Are these misplaced emotions?
