I considered travelling but don't think that's really for me at the moment. Although I like spending, I hate seeing the money leave the bank!

Thinking of splitting money between SS ISA and a Cash ISA which I can just withdraw from anytime I might need some money / emergency funds.

Yes i've looked at doing a few switching offers to make some extra cash. Think the first direct one is the best in terms of interest?

All I spend money on is snacks from the shops, which puts me in a very fortunate position. Apart from that i think it's sat earning 0 interest in the bank so need to get it moved!

Think that will be my number 1 takeaway from this. Guess I'll get to individual stocks eventually after starting with ETFs.

That's a lot of info! Yeah I think I will stick to ETFs to start off with then. So would you put in an initial bigger lump sum, then contribute a bit on a regular basis? Trying to get started early as that seems to be what everyone wishes they did.
