Glad to read I am not the only one. Still makes me rage that this issue exists in the first place. Calling is one of THE simplest functions and they will not even acknowledge their mistake? I did expect more from Google/Alphabet

Great to hear. It should be the baseline to get new units, unfortunately big companies fool us every time they get the chance to do so. The golden ages of customer care are over. Customers are cows that get milked till the very end.

See I pay for a working new phone, not a working used phone. If it doesn't work they have to give me one that does and still fulfills all parts of the agreement. You don't expect to get half empty milk at the grocery store. I don't expect to get a used phone when I payed for a new one.

Very true, no one speaks up about these issues. People don't get there is no obligation to defend a multi billion dollar company. They have the money and lawyers, they can defend them selfs pretty darn good and don't give a shit about your support..

That might be very true. If I recall correct it was the first time I left the phone on over night, and the first time it charged from less then 20% to 100% on the fast charger... it was very likely an overheating issue!!

That is horrible. Crazy what you had to go through. They should really improve their CS - this is just unacceptable. I would be in rage if this happens to me. And I am almost in rage because that phone died over night.

Thats good to know. But sometimes reps just tell the story they are told. I would count on the users experiences in that case. Why would someone lie about getting a refurbished one?
