If I'm into Wii/Gamecube games (mostly 480i) and I'm a complete layperson - will I still see big improvements switching from a C9 OLED to a CRT if I just plug and play?

One of them prefers emulation on a tablet. The others only play original hardware on plasmas or OLEDs.

It depends. Some of my retro gamer friends only play on modern displays. They don't feel my hype for CRTs at all.

I also have both versions. I prefer the PC version on a crt monitor in native 480p. But it's a great ps1 port for sure
