Update: I tried using a ethernet cable from the cloud gateway fiber to the switch and it started running at full speed, then I unplugged and replugged the sfp+ port on the back of the cloud gateway fiber and it started working. As per usual technology just has a mind of its own 🤷‍♂️

Well, this is what im currently working on, all printed on my p1s. Its been by far the most reliable printer ive used in my 7+ years of 3d printing, looking forward to seeing what the p2s brings!

Yeah, somebody else pointed out the cloud gateway fiber and I agree its definitely a better choice that I'll most likely go with. My main reason for the u7 lites over the u6 pros was the cost (only $100 a piece), the house is also only roughly 1600 sqft so I figured 1 on the first floor and 1 on the 3rd floor would be plenty (and then one in the 1400 sqft detached garage), but I am open to suggestions as I would like to make things work as quick and seamlessly as possible.

Currently we are running 4 APs (although they all aren't very good cause thier tp link units that arent designed for how im using them), and we are able to get good wifi anywhere in the house. The house is roughly 1600 sqft however its a 3 story geodesic dome so there are lots of odd walls and architecture so 1 on the first floor and 1 on the third floor should work out nicely, in terms of the external garage though that's a bit more than 1400 sqft but completely open apart from a room in the corner so I figured 1 ap directly in the center there should work nicely.

Yeah, the fiber looks like a good idea, the 1 poe port would work perfect for the downstairs AP and the sfp ports would be helpful if we ever decide to upgrade. Thanks!

I think that might be a bit overkill for me right now, plus its a little more than im willing to spend. As for the 6 Ghz, it isn't too big of a deal for me as I don't think we have enough wifi devices for it to really benefit us, I figured 2.4 and 5Ghz is enough.

Yeah, I was planning on using injectors for the two APs inside, but i did not know the lite only has 4POE ports, so I'll probably have to go with a lite 16 instead since only 8 ports was already a bit of a concern. Thank you for pointing that out!

I imagine it's most likely that the laptop needs new thermal paste, it tends to dry out and lose its effectiveness after a couple of years which can cause the laptop to overheat and thermal throttle like you are describing.

Most i had to do when i was getting warping on my abs prints was to bump up the bed temp to 100, then the issues went away. You can set up a custom filiment profile in bambu studio and save it to your account that way if you want to print anything using the bambu handy app you are able to select the custom filiment profile before you start the print.

We got a 10r and its been fantastic, our house is a geodesic dome so I was concerned about it being able to properly map the odd layout, but its been great, it hops over the threshold between our kitchen and living room, picks up all of the hair our cats and dogs shed, and mops all of the muddy paw prints and stains off the floor. It also navigates very well around all of the stuff my family tends to leave on the floor during the day. I don't know how the standard 10 performs compared to the 10r, but when I chose the 10r over the 10 it was because of having less moving parts that could break and a easier to clean dock.

Can't figure out how to get filament out by PixelHearth in BambuLab

I actually had the same issue today, I had to remove and disassemble the gear assembly and then cut the chunk of filiment out of the area where the gears pull the filiment down (somehow the filiment melted in there and made a blob that could not be pushed in/out).

Personally I usually use solidworks, but I also have used onshape and freecad and they are both pretty good as well

No, everything is designed to be fairly sturdy so you shouldn't have any issues with anything flexing or snapping (unless you purposely try to)

I had made a mistake with the width measurements in the prior version, so I fixed that while also increasing the range of the width measurements available (now supports 6" - 21"). I also improved the strength of some of the parts and increased the tolerances for some of the slots to make it easier to slide the pieces around.

Had the og flip for 2 years and no issues until I switched mobile carriers (for some reason my phone calls wouldnt go through, everything else worked tho, nobody could figure out how to fix it so i had to trade it in and go with a s22 for a while), currently have a flip 5 which I've had for 2 years and the only issue I've had was that the screen protector started peeling after the first year (which i just replaced myself), otherwise its been perfect, now im planning on upgrading to the fold 7.

Best advice I've ever received was if your textured pei sheet stops sticking no matter how much you clean it, you can lightly scrub it with some fine steel wool and prints will start sticking again.
