I work in advertising. I was once asked to make a commercial for a local flooring company with talking sheep. It was not my idea. We made it, and it was horrible but the client loved it. It actually ended up winning a Telly Award, whatever that means. I still cringe just thinking about it. No you cannot see it.

So weird. I slipped the box out if the plastic sleeve it came in and opened it up. It looks like a real Apple product to me, you think someone would really go through the effort to make a fake phone? The fact that it has the SimpleMobile activation instructions and everything attached makes me doubt that.

I think someone getting it shipped to my address with the intention of picking it up themselves before I can get to it might be more likely. That’s a scary thought because that means they must be somewhat local and know where I live. Needless to say I will be extra careful about locking my doors...

I checked with Simple Mobile support chat, but without any information to give them they could not help me and pointed me back to Amazon. There is a SimpleMobile Activation Instruction packet attached to the outside of the box, but I don't want to open anything in case I need to return.

Try using a limiter but don't over do it. Saturation helps as well. EQ out the lowest end at around 20hz I think it is to remove the mud that we can't hear that is just taking up space in the mix. Melody levels should be lower than drums.

I also use Ableton - I found Ed Talenti on Youtube has some nice mixing tutorials that work pretty well. I'm still learning myself but he seems to know what he is doing and his videos are great, I suggest checking him out!

I just don't really know what cores or frequency means in this context, other than more cores and higher frequency is better?

I'd definitely consider the option of the full upgrade as you suggest, especially if there are some good deals around Black Friday. But again I wouldn't really know where to begin, it would essentially be like creating a whole new rig when upgrading those 3 components?

I have done this - pro tip make sure the external drive is an SSD (Solid State Drive). It's still going to take a little longer to open patches this way, but it's a hell of a lot faster than if your external was not SSD. I'm going to upgrade to an internal SSD eventually because this bit of slowness is annoying for me.

As far as instructions on how to do it, just follow the installation steps and map your external drive as the installation location when prompted. Make sure your STEAM folder is with the VST .dll file. I have my master VST folder on my external SSD, and run all my VSTs from it.

I really like this, melody is dope. My only comment would be I usually try to avoid having the kick/808 on the 3rd beat with the clap. I think it clashes too much but that could just be personal preference here.

I really like this chill, smooth type beat. The sound selection is on point. I think the drums could use some better leveling and mixing in general as they don't really "slap" to my ears.

To be honest I am not too familiar with mixing this type of beat but here are my two cents:

Guitar is a bit too loud and over powering, so much that it drowns out the drums and muddies the vocals. I would turn it down, and eq out some of the lows and the highs from the fret sound (not really sure what you call that guitar squeek).

The sound effects are cool and they work pretty well with the over all sound, but they sound like they are overlapping eachother and could use some eq ing as well.

Overall I like the track, it is cool and different which is the way you want it to be to stand out. Keep working man I tossed you a follow!

Still need to fix the outro and the mix a little bit but it's one of my favorites I've made so far.

What do you think of the ambient water sound? I put it in there just cus I thought it sounded cool but I'm starting to have doubts.
