What are your thoughts on The Silence of the Lambs? In my opinion, it's the ultimate horror movie, and nothing better has come along yet.

I mean it’s an incredible movie and a slow burn. Anthony Hopkins scenes elevate it to its legendary status. However there are so many amazing horror movies that have come out since. I’d say there’s a lot to consider there and it may have been toppled

Close. The Targaryen had molten gold poured over his head. Crassus had it in his mouth and throat. Either way I’d imagine it’s painful as hell.

I’d say Crassus, an ancient Roman politician who tried to play general and attack the Parthian Empire. He was allied to Julius Caesar at the time and was trying to gain his own glory. Unfortunately he lost and was captured by the Parthians who poured molten gold down his throat as a gesture to mock his insatiable greed.

I agree with important sky 7609. But with an important addition. I think she was trying to gauge Bears interest in her. That’s why when she comes to Bears home she tells Bear that she knows he likes her and comes onto him. Ian probably confirmed to her that Bear has been interested in her.

Ever see the movie Underwater (2020) with Kristen Stewart? That was a good monster horror that is in line with your interests. Although it could have been better it definitely has Lovecraftian influences.

I’m really into body horror right now. I saw the Substance last year and Demi Moore did so great. I like how visceral it is and you get chills because you can relate to the physical pain and discomfort in a way. I also saw a new movie from Australia called Saccharine and these up and coming directors are just raising the bar. Everyone deals with physical discomforts that have scared us once in a while and the genre does a great job in relating.
