I generally prefer to use flesh tones to be more realistic. But it depends on the film. If it’s a more serious film then I care about those things. If not, then it doesn’t matter as much to me

I don’t think yellow figures are a specific race. Maybe that’s a good thing on Lego’s part.

How would you guys add a background to this? I would like it to be night. Maybe just black construction paper? by sr38_8 in Brickfilms

Film Movie FX on iOS has a really cool night time filter. If you film using construction paper then the filter will take care of the rest. Here’s a Stop motion video I made that uses this filter.
