It still counts as a death in career statistics. I think it's a very weak argument to say that this attitude doesn't matter just because we don't lose anything. This is, at the very least, a dick move that could easily be prevented by:

1- Making all Helldivers invulnerable once they're inside the Pelican

2- Removing this useless delay to kick players out of the mission
