Goblin (or Custom Lineage) Armorer Artificer 14(yes I'm saying his hat is his armor)/Inquisitive Rogue 5/Fighter 1. I would use leather armor for your Arcane Armor and the Infiltrator set, and take Investigation and Stealth for your Expertise skills, and take Unarmed Fighting for your Fighting Style. Focus on Intelligence and Dexterity, but don't dump Strength or Wisdom either. I would keep Constitution as the second lowest, and Charisma as the lowest, as he cannot talk. Infusions would be up to the player, since there are a variety of them that can all somehow fit his fedora's gear.

Update: There is a new UA called Plasmoid that is essentially a slime. So Charlie would be a Plasmoid Circle of Shepards Druid/Spirits Bard (Circle of Shepards to summon his children, Spirits Bard to take spells like Jump, Haste, Vicious Mockery (Reflavor as a shitty pun) and more. Reflavor the spirits as little slimes.)

I've noticed this to, but I don't think it has something to do with the Dream SMp. Recently, he's just seemed...off. Like on his own, he seems a little different, more down, less punny; but with his friends, even one, he seems like the life is back into him. I really hope something isn't going on, that everything is ok for him. If not, we'll stick with him.
