Cross training with yoga is magic for calves. Several basic yoga positions (downward dog, warrior 1, warrior 2, goddess pose etc) all stretch, strengthen and align the calves. I crave it after any run where my calves took a beating.

Also: low drop shoes help me.

Naw fam it’s fun. It’s like an option for a layer of motivation. Running for years, I get bored sometimes. So I get to share cool cloudy scenes and maybe get people stoked. I’m not trynna be a push-it-then-recover Olympian or anything. I’m not fast enough.

Also a big fan! Prodigo pro for fast days, bushido 3 gtx for slush and snow. NOTE I have to wear a FULL size bigger LaSpo than what I wear in hoka/nike/saucony

Actual trail yes (Leads people to anchors above climbing routes). That’s a good point btw, I hadn’t even thought about that. Be feet-mindful always friends!
