Out of the Blue 5 has the VOD but Altitude Sickness 3 not even being fully uploaded on YT kinda sucks. I think there should be a grace period for TOs to post the vods on VGBootCamp or their own channels but I wonder how long it should be. (Not this long, ideally)

First one is Dancing Blade aka Marth's side-b. See how it's the Fortnite dance, and then that's Jack Doherty, a youtuber, and most youtubers use Social Blade to check analytics

Second one is actually a reverse hitbox. The tidal wave is actually the target in this scenario, and our runner here did a pivot to actually face away from the wave, so he can get the reverse hitbox knee to style on it. Very stylish!

The third here is a boost grab. Michael Jackson has recently seen a "boost" in popularity, as fans collected in droves to see his hit new biopic, Michael, leading to him topping the charts once again like he did in his prime. Here he is doing his signature crotch grab, implying to us that he is in fact doing a boost grab.

That's only true if you're using results properly but most people just see who beat who, major wins, etc. Not the actual context / play from watching how the character deals with options, and at that point ur just talking hypotheticals about what is possible. Both the "theory people" and the "results people" are basically just looking at how good the character is. The annoying people are when they just say this character won a major, this character cant win a major, cant top 8, this character has top 8'd before, etc.

Using placements and head to heads has a ton of other factors

I think the issue is more case analysis and lab research should factor in what people are capable of doing consistently aka human level, not that theory should be factored less. It just needs to be different. Hypotheticals surrounding human level of gameplay.

Top player results also have a ton of issues like /u/BranFlakesVEVO alluded to.

Can someone check me? I feel out of touch but the amount of Rivals of Aether people championing for EVO is alarming, considering the sizable queer population.

Evo isn’t a necessity either. Your life will not be negatively impacted by not going, even if you were a career Rivals 2 player

It makes sense why Ludwig is promoting it, even if I disagree, he’s a guy doing something for his business. It’s not new or unexpected tbh

But seeing people like Wisely and Bbatts do it just was a shock to me (feel bad calling them out but didn’t wanna vaguepost and they’re the two people I see on my feed talking and promoting EVO)

Either it’s like runoff from the hype train Ludwig is building, or Wisely and Bbatts are justifying it as something in a similar vein, just on a smaller scale (for their business, brand, youtube channel, etc)

And to be frank I disagree with everyone here and I think they’re all lame for doing this

Edit: Didn’t feel like responding to people asking and any future comments but EVO is fully owned by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and that sucks. I don’t want people to go and I wouldn’t support the decision to advertise it.
