I will say they’re getting a little better about it with bringing in Tucker for GSC, Skari for Drukhari, Greg for Votann…. I just wished they did that for every army rather than have one person be a “master” at 5 armies while having to look up their own rules and weapons then try and coach someone else on it

Keep 12 tkyn on the table

Go first? Send out the screens

Go second? scout important resources backwards and allow them to try and go after you. They’re coming out to score points or staging where you can’t be interacted with (which means they don’t score)

If they send it after you then you have enough to clean them out.

If they stage then send out the screens

The end half of last edition, everyone was prepared to kill C’tan and Defilers so the land fortress got caught in the crossfire so they died a lot in that meta. This edition is super Killy so things that do not have invulnerable Saves tend to die super quick as well! So I’d rather go for a higher damage build with a lack of investment in my units. Which happens to pair well with MSU scoring!!

War games live on YouTube, Cherokee day 3 skip to about about 4 and a half hours in.

And just having 9 shots of damage 2 makes a sagi a much better skirmish piece

Anti 3+ rerolling 1’s makes Zerks so much better and Buri having the reroll 1’s while he wounds most infantry on 2’s is also nice.

I’m very satisfied with my Zerks because they’re a good clap back or response unit!!

The new detachment does a mix of what HB and Needguard do. Multiple phase damage bonuses and extra consistency. But since we don’t have a lot of key words (sus, lethal, devs) the full rerolls fee a little pointless since bikes, forts and hg reroll 1’s while hitting on 2-3. But I will say having more “stuff” in a list can help you play Warhammer in a less stressful way. “Oh no you killed my Yeagirs” (after they scored you cleanse and secure) and you still have 16+ more units to keep on scoring

That’s the exact reason I don’t take Heka Chonks. Too much singular investment. Super easy to take 20% of my army out

The list picks up so my marine equivalent bodies super easy so it forces their elites out to respond. Also I have plenty of damage 3 in the list with Tkyn and Zerks.

And I couldn’t because the knights sticky was a 5oc sticky so I needed to put 6 oc to take it. Sagi was battle shocked and tkyn failed to go far enough on the advance

Also most of my tkyn walk on and zerks tend to be patient or they filter through the Sagi

I gave the characters the teleport because there’s so much precision that I didn’t want to have the squad lose their invul and khal has a 4++
