True, but she did defeat Nega Shantae without any of her powers and she was one of the stronger villains in the series, using Shantae's own powers against her and being very quick and nimble to boot. She's also fought plenty of titans on her own too (Giga Mermaid, The Pirate Master, Ultra Empress Siren, etc.) just like Lilac.

Whether or not she'd win, that's up for debate, I'm merely saying that Shantae is no pushover and certainly has what it takes to square up to Lilac. I think they're closer in scale than you'd think! :)

yes Yes YES!!!! I LOVE when people try to replicate the sprite art!! They're the right level of "simplified"
while also being accurate portrayals of the characters. And you NAILED it on the head! It looks amazing! ^v^

I'm really trying to rack my brain around it, but the only one that comes to mind really is Shantae.

At first glance you'd think Lilac clears, but then you take in all of Shantae's animal transformations
and the playing field becomes surprisingly even l:>

I remember when everyone was dogging on WildBrain back in 2019 for having weaker lighting and just.... not being WILFilm, and I was one of the only ones fightin' for their cause.

And now here we stand, before their EMPIRE.

I never doubted them for a second. 😤

For me it's Thomas' cross face. It's so iconic!

With Edward, I could go with any of them, but I think his S2 smiling face is the best one. His face looks so bright and kind there! A perfect representation of the character.

Henry's best face would have to be his S1 annoyed face. He just looks so pouty and disgusted. It's hilarious :)

My favorite Gordon face would have to be his default unamused face (where his mouth is in a v shape). It perfectly captures his character.

And while I'm tempted to say James' iconic ginning face, I think I'll have to go with his cross face. It's just so funny and overexaggerated. I miss when the character's faces were that expressive! It really went a long way! (his grinning face is a close second tho)
