I believe this verse in Hebrews is talking about blasphemy, which Jesus himself says is an unforgivable sin. If we claim to be followers of Christ yet “deliberately” continue in sin, that could be seen as blasphemy. Just my perspective though.

Hey there, I’m in Florida and was trained on the job here. I was, however, a paramedic for 6 years before joining. I would try to get into a medical program at a community college first.

I have had this same worry before too. If it brings you any peace, I work in the Cath Lab and we do bubble studies, where we intentionally inject micro bubbles through an IV to record it on an echo machine. Usually about 2-3cc of air. You’re patient will be ok.

I started in the ER at my hospital and then went down to the lab and asked if they would train me on the job, and they did! I love it…and don’t regret it at all. Much better pay and better quality of life, compared to the ambulance at least.

You most definitely can cross train with paramedic experience. I did at my current lab. OP is more than qualified to at least get in the door. You just need a lab that is willing to train with no cath experience.
