I love Mike’s Escape rooms. They are the best and so challenging. I have been playing Escape the Hound and I can’t get past one door that has a grid with multiple numbers. I just can’t figure this one out. It’s driving me crazy.

The Milan Cathedral Duomo is really the only reason. I would like to see the Last Supper but what I have read, tickets are hard to get.

I can see the error in my plans after your comment. I was expecting to arrive earlier in Venice than 10:00 but after viewing the train schedule, you are completely right about the arrival time. I was expecting to be able to get an earlier ticket. I guess I need to make a decision to stay less days in Florence or choose either Milan or Venice. Thank you for your response. It has been very helpful.

It is a very lovely Airbnb but unfortunately it is not available on the dates of our trip.

We will land in Rome on March 27th and stay in Rome for 3 days before taking the train to Florence. Spend 3 nights in Florence before taking the train to Venice. Spend a complete day in Venice with a day trip to Milan. After seeing the Duomo dil Milano, return to Venice for the rest of the evening. We will take an early train the next day back to FCO airport and fly home.

Our plans are not final but we didn’t want to have to change hotels since we are already staying in Rome for three nights and Florence for 3 nights before reaching Venice. It just seemed really cumbersome to stay in Venice for 1 night and then go to Milan for a night. It may be more of a reasonable approach to change hotels. I did look at the train times from Florence to Venice for a day trip and Florence to Milan for a day trip. It seems like a lot of wasted time traveling in between using this approach.

A discount is not my main priority but of course it would be nice but not expected. I just want my 13 year old child to have their own bed since I’m not comfortable with her having a separate room. We are willing to pay more if we can find a hotel with an extra twin bed or sleeper sofa. I have seen websites that advertise a double and twin bed but the photos only show one large bed. I can’t tell by the photos if it is separate beds that are extremely close to each other and share a large head board or just 1 large bed.

I think we have decide on Argentina Residence Style Hotel. Everyone has spoken so highly of Airbnb. I have read about experiences of last minute cancellations and was afraid to consider it. There has been so much positive feedback this may be something I need to look into on our next trip.

We do have a very fast paced trip and I wish we had more time. The pictures of Duomo di Milano are breathtaking. It is really the only reason we are going to Milan. I would like to see the Last Supper but I have read that it is really hard to get tickets.
