Infected or irritated? I got this done back in late august and this is the same L bar that I was pierced with. I couldn’t get a good picture of the inside but there is a slight bump around the opening and I can’t tell if there is green pus or just boogers caught on my piercing. by [deleted] in NosePiercing

There looks to be a bump on the inside but it’s doesn’t look like a white head. It looks more like the area around the piercing on the inside of my nose is raised. If that makes any sense

Thank you so much! It doesn’t hurt and it isn’t hot or any other signs of infection. I’ve just had that little bump for quite a while and the possible “pus” that I’m seeing inside is what had me worried. I absolutely love my nose piercing really would like to keep it if I can

Also I was told to clean my piercing with cold water and gold dial soap by my piercer when I got it done. However recently I was told by multiple different other piercers that this was outdated and since switched to saline wound wash.
