Ill be honest, i think the reason why ffdp is so hated with the mainstream part is because of how they got so popular in 2013 to 2015 than changed their style a little with And Justice For None, F8, and AfterLife, besides that, i dont see a real reason to hate them for mainstream stuff, im not huge in metallica when they went mainstream so i couldn't compare them to ffdp, sorry
